Who builds PrimeForge.
PrimeForge is the product brand of DarkHorseOne, a UK software company. Everything published under the PrimeForge name — the business systems, the AI tools, the learning experiences — is designed, built and maintained by the same engineering team, not licensed in from elsewhere or run by a separate label.
The portfolio covers three different kinds of thing: business systems for smaller organisations that don’t have a dedicated function for the job in question, practical AI tools built for individuals and small teams who want to keep their own work on their own machine, and open learning tools built for anyone curious enough to use them. What the products share is not a market — an HR system, a compliance tool and an interactive maths visualiser have almost nothing in common on paper — but a method: each one starts from a real need somebody actually has, not from a gap spotted on a market map.
Products are built and changed the same way, regardless of which part of the portfolio they sit in. AI is used throughout DarkHorseOne’s own process — research, design, engineering, testing and delivery — which is what lets a small team keep several products moving at once rather than settling into a fixed release cycle for any one of them. AI is not itself the product; it’s how the team builds and rebuilds what is.
There is no fixed roadmap. Where a product doesn’t fit how the people using it actually work, the product is the part that changes, and that change is recorded rather than absorbed silently — the Forge Log lists every update, experiment and retirement across the portfolio with the date it happened, so a claim made on this site can be checked against what has actually shipped.
Every product currently in the portfolio is free to use. The status shown on each product’s own page — Active, Evolving, Beta, Experimental — describes how settled that particular product is, from something in daily use to something still being tried.
