Terms of service
These terms cover PrimeForge Desktop and the apps you buy on the PrimeForge store. They are written to be read: what you are paying for, when you are charged, how to stop, and what each side is responsible for.
Who we are
PrimeForge is a product brand of DarkHorseOne Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15002342, whose registered office is at Suite 3.2, 27 Castle Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2PX, England. Our VAT number is GB 478687514. In these terms “we” and “us” means DarkHorseOne Limited, and “you” means the person using PrimeForge. Card statements and Stripe receipts show the company’s legal name, DARKHORSEONE LIMITED.
What we offer
- PrimeForge Desktop — a free application you download and install on your own computer. It is where PrimeForge apps are installed and run.
- Apps — sold on the PrimeForge store at store.primeforge.app. Each app’s store page states its price, whether it is a subscription or a one-off purchase, and whether it comes with a free trial. LinkedBot is the first of these.
Apps run on your own computer, inside PrimeForge Desktop. They are not a hosted service that runs on our servers. What you buy is added to the library of your PrimeForge account, and PrimeForge Desktop checks that library to know which apps you may install and use.
Your account
Buying an app needs a PrimeForge account. You sign in with your email address (we send you a one-time code and link) or, where it is offered, with another sign-in provider. Keep access to that email address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 18 to buy from the store.
You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Deleting it does not cancel a subscription at Stripe by itself — cancel first, as described below.
What you need
Each app’s store page lists what it needs. For LinkedBot today that is:
- a Mac running macOS 14 or later, with PrimeForge Desktop installed;
- Google Chrome, with the LinkedBot extension added;
- your own Claude account on the Pro plan or higher, signed in on that computer;
- your own LinkedIn account.
Please check these before you buy. These services are not part of what we sell, and any fees for them are paid to their providers, not to us.
Subscriptions and trials
LinkedBot costs £19.90 a month, including VAT. Prices are in pounds sterling, and the price you will pay is shown on the store and again on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm.
- Free trial. A new subscriber gets a 14-day free trial. One trial per account per app: if your account has held the app before, or has been given free time on it, the subscription starts without a new trial.
- Payment details up front. Stripe collects a payment method when the trial starts. Nothing is charged during the trial.
- First charge. Taken when the trial ends, unless you have cancelled before then. Without a trial, the first charge is taken when you subscribe.
- Renewal. The subscription then renews every month, and is charged each month, until you cancel.
- Free time. We may occasionally give your account extra free time on an app — for example as a goodwill gesture. Free time on a running subscription moves your next charge back by that amount. We email you when it is given, and if you have no subscription, again before it runs out.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it cannot be collected, we may suspend access to the app until it is.
If we change a subscription’s price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page on the store, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. There you can also change your card and download invoices.
- During the trial — you are not charged at all.
- After the trial — the subscription stops at the end of the month you have already paid for. You keep the app until then, and you are not charged again.
Your right to cancel, and refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 normally give you 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind.
- With a free trial, the trial covers those 14 days: cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Without a trial, you can cancel within 14 days of subscribing by contacting us, and we will refund that first payment in full within 14 days of your request, to the card you paid with. We will end your access to the app at the same time.
- Monthly renewals do not start a new 14-day period. Cancelling after a renewal stops the next charge; the month already paid for is not refunded, unless the app was faulty or not as described.
None of this affects your legal rights if an app is faulty or not as described. If that happens, tell us and we will repair it, replace it or refund you, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires.
Your licence
When you buy an app, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use it, through PrimeForge Desktop, on your own computers, for as long as the purchase or subscription is active. The licence belongs to your PrimeForge account and is not shared with, sold or lent to anyone else.
The apps, PrimeForge Desktop and their content remain ours or our licensors’. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or work around the licence checks of an app or of PrimeForge Desktop, except where the law allows it.
What you create with an app — your drafts, posts and messages — is yours.
Claude, LinkedIn and other services
Claude. The AI work in PrimeForge apps runs through your own Claude account, under Anthropic’s terms and your plan’s usage limits. We are not Anthropic and do not control Claude’s availability, limits or output. AI output can be wrong: read what an app drafts before you use it.
LinkedIn. LinkedBot works with LinkedIn through a Chrome extension in your own signed-in browser. It is not a LinkedIn product, and it is not made, endorsed or approved by LinkedIn. LinkedBot drafts; it sends a post, comment or message only when you confirm it. You remain responsible for what is sent from your account and for using LinkedIn within LinkedIn’s own terms, which restrict automated activity. LinkedIn decides how it treats any account, and we cannot promise that it will not restrict yours.
Stripe. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Using the apps responsibly
You agree not to use PrimeForge or its apps to:
- send spam, or bulk or unsolicited messages;
- harass, mislead or impersonate anyone;
- break the law, or the terms of a service you use them with;
- interfere with PrimeForge’s servers, or with other people’s use of them.
If you do, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right.
Availability and changes to apps
We keep improving the apps, and updates may change how they work. We will not remove a main feature you are paying for during a period you have paid for without telling you; if a change makes an app materially worse for you, you can cancel and we will refund any unused part of the period.
Apps depend on services we do not control — Claude, LinkedIn, Chrome and macOS among them. When one of them changes, an app may stop working until we update it. We will work to restore it, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. If we stop offering an app altogether, we will tell you in advance and stop charging for it.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by a service we do not control, or for what you choose to send with an app.
If an app we supplied damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or compensate you.
The apps are for personal and business productivity. If you use them for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, or business opportunity, and our total liability to a business customer is limited to the amount it paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using PrimeForge at any time: cancel any subscription, then delete your account. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if a payment is not made. When access ends, apps that need an active purchase stop being available in PrimeForge Desktop.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example when we add an app or the law changes. We will update the date at the top, and if a change matters to a subscription you have, we will email you before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first — most things can be put right quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in your local courts.
